Now that Xmas has gone and gone, I can find comfort with Radiola, an oasis in a world gone mad.

Thank you! RADIOLA! isn't the light at the end of the tunnel, but it's some lightness to help you get through the tunnel.

Here's to a happier new year!

I mean it. I listened to 24 Xmas music as I am wont to do. But when it's over, I go back to where I spend the next 11 months until Thanksgiving. I suggest others give it a try. It's a genre of music that is dying away and it's very much a part of the American experience and reflects the lives and times of what transpired in this country from the beginning of the 20th century.

Now I was wondering something: Did you ever do or would you consider doing a thematic show around the states of the union memorialized in song?

It's so much fun to think of this kind of stuff when it's somebody else doing the heavy lifting.

I did two shows on the theme you mention around July 4, 2007:

That was the year I was doing two radio shows on different stations. Never again! Talk about heavy lifting!
