You saved the best for last- can't get enough of those Ponce Sisters! That's the only recording I've heard by them outside the ones on the Venuti-Lang Mosaic boxset. Are there any electrical recordings by the Brox Sisters out there? Good to hear Jimmie Rodgers and the Five Harmaniacs (that was a new one for me as well)- territory you don't often stray into. As always, thank you!

Thank you! That particular Ponce Sisters recording rarely turns up anywhere. I played some of their Columbia sides a few months back ("I Faw Down and Go 'Boom'" and "Where the Lollipops Grow") but "Sailin' On" is a really nice one. I have a few other Jimmie Rodgers items coming up--one already transferred for next week. I'm glad you're enjoying these!
