Catherine (or "Cat") Russell is going to appear in Utica at the recently renovated Stanley Theatre for Utica Monday Night at 8 PM on July 7. This is a must-see performance. Cat is the daughter of the legendary Luis Russell, who worked with King Oliver, Red Allen, and Louis Armstrong, to name but a few. Cat's new album "Sentimental Streak" features her delightful interpretations of many jazz standards, with appropriate accompaniment.
