Andy....
I wonder why I never get tired of hearing what I called The Dippermouth Cycle"...the 2 King Oliver "Dippermouth Blues" from 1923 {Gennett/OKeh}, The Henderson "Sugar Foot Stomp" featured on this great show, then Oliver's Dixie Syncopators 1926 "Sugar Foot"...skip along to Benny Goodman's swing version from studio & radio, then maybe close out with Muggsy Spanier's Ragtimers.
If I wanna go "modernistic". I'll dig up some more recent versions, like the U.K.'s Merseysippi Jazz Band's....
Guess it's just a great classic jazz standard.
Also, major congrats on the Lonnie Johnson/Eddie Lang cuts & the hefty injection of Thomas Waler, Esq....delicious!
