Hot Music and Hotter Weather (June 24, 2005)

(Week 3)

Week three went very well, indeed–I actually had my playlist completed before I walked out the door. Not only that, I played proportionately more 78s than before–and they didn’t sound nearly as scratchy as they did through earphones on my computer. Also, my long-lost friend Dave (now working at the college) stopped by for part of the gig. Dave said I didn’t sound “too nasal.” (Thanks, Dave!) Not a bad little two-hour excursion, even if the heat was getting to me.
