"Turn on the Heat" (October 21, 2005)

(Week 15)

It's getting a bit brisk here in upstate NY. The music was played with the intention of warming things up a bit; undoubtedly it must have. As for me, I was a bit off kilter, for sundry reasons. Since it should be all about the music anyway--and the music was great--I'll let the music suffice. (I've managed to edit out most of my rambling for the Live 365 archive version, which is now posted.) There's much to enjoy here:

"Happy Feet" (October 14, 2005)

(Week 14)

This was a four-hour broadcast that almost wasn't. Owing to car troubles--my wife's Toyota wouldn't start and so I had to borrow lawn mower gas to propel my Ford Fiasco (aka The Clown Car)--I got to the station several minutes late. Add to that elevated blood sugar and general tiredness, and it might have been much, much worse. Actually, it turned out pretty good. My apologies to those who tuned in at 6 PM expecting to hear me and got only dead air. The whole show is now posted on Live 365 for those who missed it:
