A KEEPER OF THE FLAME

"I like music by dead people," says Nellie McKay on today's edition of Fresh Air. By combining trenchant lyrics with 1920s- and 1930s-style tunes, as well as preforming standards with a high degree of musicianship, Nellie is keeping the music vital and in the public sphere. HERE is her website.

IT'S HIATUS TIME AGAIN!!

Owing to the advent of Hockey season and the break for Thanksgiving, RADIOLA! will not be broadcast for at least the next two Fridays on WHCL.

UPDATE: I'm uploading some 2005 programs to my live 365 site to add a bit of variety to the proceedings during hiatus.
